The Xcaliber is a brush used for intricate designs. An example would be for outlining a flame job. Any application where the brush has to turn tight corners. The reason this brush does the job is that the hair length is 1 1/2" as opposed to 2". 4 sizes create lines from 1/32" to 1/8" wide. (actual width varies with practice and pressure control.)
